Hammerhead Sharks- medium-sized live-bearing shark with eyes at either end of a flattened hammer-shaped head; worldwide in warm waters; can be dangerous,a shark of tropical and temperate oceans that has flattened bladelike extensions on either side of the head, with the eyes and nostrils placed at or near the ends.

hammerhead sharks are sharks in the sphyrnidae family. Hammerheads are carnivores that can be found in Columbia and costa Rica. Most hammerheads can rage from 4 to 6 m long and 230 to
450 kg in weight. The main prey of hammerheads are smaller fish, crustaceans, squid and octopus. Most hammerheads do not seek out human prey they will attack humans if they feel threatened. Due to there oddly shaped heads they find food much easier then other sharks because of the fact they have a wider range of sight.

most hammerheads are gray-brown to olive-green on top with off-white undersides in color, and they have heavily serrated, triangular teeth

great hammerheads are the most dangerous hammerheads in the species. when hunting stingrays great hammerheads use their "hammers" to pin down the sting rays as they take bits out of the sting rays wings.
hammerheads can be found in warm waters swimming in depths around 80 m deep.
when reproducing most hammerheads give birth to around 20 to 40 pups that around 70cm long.
